Mathematicians predict delaying school start times won't help sleep deprived teenagers

Insufficient sleep during the week, and attempts to catch up at the weekend lead to ‘social jet lag’, finds a new study. Delaying school start times in the UK is unlikely to reduce sleep deprivation in teenagers, the research has found.
